Car keys no longer on the floor?
It used to be pretty common for me to find them right next to vehicles just loose on the floor. Im assuming this was removed?

B42 keys spawns has been changed a lot. I still find some keys on the ground, but it is very rare.

Got it, its not that its a problem, i found loose car keys almost everytime on b41 in parking spaces or car wreaks

They more often than not spawn in the buildings nearby or the car itself now. If it's not there, then yknow, it's a bust unless you can hotwire it.

If you can find the zombie that has the key (assuming it hasn't spawned in the building) then you might have some luck. If the first helicopter has arrived already or a meta event has pulled the area spawns away you likely won't ever see it.

I found quite a few on the ground, actually. Not sure if it's that much more common in B41.

I find them equally likely to spawn on the ground, inside the car, inside a nearby building, or carried by a nearby zombie in B42, although 'nearby" sometimes mean quite a distance away.

Foraging skill can still help in finding them if you're focused on it.
