Project Zomboid

You CAN find the world seed after starting your game!
It's in the debug log in with all the world gen stuff. Just ctrl+f world seed and there it is! I wish I thought to just do that in the first place, before looking line by line. Debug log can be found in C:\Users\Name\Zomboid\Logs or whichever drive you installed to. Make sure the current save file is the one you want and it'll be the most recent log in that folder.
Enjoy :)

Interesting. Is this for recreating the starting conditions of the map, when we first spawn-in, and wish to share a snapshot of what we found in the immediate neighborhood, with friends and victims?
So i'm in debug mode but i still cant seem to find it :(
I wondered if the world seed controlled the WorldDictionary files which controls how items are defined in the world. Because copying map files to a new save without also copying the WorldDictionary files causes havoc.
