Hunting

Hello, I have a few questions about this:

1. Where are the deers? I have only manage to see rats and rabbits apart from farm animals.
2. Is there any bow and arrows to hunt or unless you have fireweapons you can only get the animals from trapping?
3. How does the tracking work, on the tutorial it says that it highlights the tracks of animals but I am following rabbits and while on foraging mode and I can not see any highlighted track, but the tracking experience does go up a bit?

You will find deer in the rural areas, near farms and thick woods.

1: i often see them near the north farm of Muldraugh
as for 2: bows aren't in just yet, the might come later(always a chance they won;t make it in at all due to issues).
#: no idea never been able to get 1 xp point in tracking despite lvl 10 foraging(no foraging books read either)

back roads - they will run from ya before you see em on foot just like real life - but if your cruising down the road in a car youll see em - you gotta zomm off the edge of the screen to have a shot at em with a gun lol - its hard and rightfully so

I killed more deer with my car then a gun irl.

Just call the local sheriff, he'll tag it and boom. Free deer meat, just gotta wash the blood off the paint.

Thanks for the answers, so I guess no bow for now, but if they actually run from you even before you can see them by walking then even If I had a bow, it was going to be a bit difficult

Deer are such animals that can run either along the highway or deep in the forest. I advise you to look on the outskirts of the city/highway or near the forest

Sneaking helps you get closer before they run, better your sneak closer you can get. In last patch you could set a animal zone where wildlife was and they would stop running from you wile in the zone, I don't know if it still works in 42.1 though.

I've been finding a group of deers on my way to Jamietown, where the military surplus store is. There's a pretty dense forest there, so maybe you can find more in there.
