I like everything that makes the game better in a game without mods.
Thanks, guys!
"All right, but apart from sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh-water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?"
Erm... central heating.
Do you have any proof that they stole the mods? Because this sounds like a libel. And you know libel is a crime right?
If they really took the mods without crediting the modders and claim it as their own, the modders would've caused a stink right from the beginning.
I feel like the only fault on TIS's side is that they don't have a definitive credit page, aside from the name scroll on the title screen.
Rome shouldn't get too much credit for a lot of those things, because the technology and concepts came from other places.
But what they were amazing at is organizing manpower and resources to distribute those advancements to everyone under their flag...at least while they were still a Republic. Corruption and embezzlement got pretty bad once they switched to a Dictatorship. Wonder where we've seen that before?
How do you know they didn't hire him? This dev team does hire modders, and they wouldn't use someone's modification without giving credit.
This dev team isn't like the others out there. They do care about the modding community.
Occasionally they will make their mistakes like you, and me do so don't sweat it so much. Just happy to see you have a healthy respect for modders.
I remember this happening with Fallout 4 mods. One that stands out was a mod that allowed players to make their own robots. Bethesda turned that into a DLC.
