New Build 42 update broke my save

Anyone else as sad as me? i had so many sheepies.

well i'm saved from caring about that, my long savefile got deleted by the bite animation stunlock getting me killed from full health by like 3 zombies anyway.

Getting emotionally-attached to a character created in an Unstable branch is usually going to lead to sadness.

this is an unstable beta its normal that the save game is gone mad ps mine too about 20 hours of testing gone forever

That stunlock is normal though, not exclusive to 42.

It's noted somewhere that updates might break saves in the Unstable Branch.

I would get used to it happening until B42 is fully released.

Outside of game updates when I'm on the beta branch after every play session "if I do a lot" I just back up the world save.

it took a long time (10+minutes) for the save to be converted and start

Thought it wouldn't load too, but left PZ running for a while, loading

Respawn them using debug mode maybe? Unless you've already named them. Cause, oof.

Any revelations to share from raising animals? You probably know alot more about it than me. Also, do you plan to do it again with your next run?

Mine is broken and crashing out at 15/42 no amount of validating files works so my sheepies are gone :(
