Fill the water cooler with blood and put it in a random house to freak out the next survivor that comes along.

Why did they add livestock and the crafting necessary to reboot society before they added human NPCs?
seems logical for immersion purposes
You can't reboot society without other people in the first place. Most people are playing in the month or so after initial infection when ample industrial goods are available, not 10 years down the line (even then I think stone hammers and stuff should not be a priority).
Honestly though that was rude of me. Butchery is a cool addition, I just find it gross how intricate it is as a vegetarian and I really would like NPCs.
I would be a lot more immersed with other people in the world to interact with than I would with farm animals. But oh well, it is what it is.
