Multiplayer?
I've been out of the loop. Is there a timeline for when multiplayer will come back?

Honestly, not all that long. At latest I expect it to be a year out, so long as development continues to go smoothly. I'm hoping before Q3, but don't get your hopes up.

not eta so far sadly but the steam remote play is an option and ive heard it works just fine

That is split screen and not online multiplayer.

It didn't go anywhere. B42 requires manual participation switch, so don't act as it just suddenly disappeared. It says clearly that B42 won't support MP for at least a season.

I'm sorry if I keep insisting but i cannot seem to find where they talk (even much much much generally) about a possible date for multiplayer and stable 42. I know that there is not a date still, but i have no idea if we are talking about years, months or what... An information like "at least a season" is already much more than something because it would clarify that is less than a year altough more than a couple months.

you are correct. they NEVER give exact dates.
nobody can give you a date.
that guy, this guy, you guy. nobody knows or can tell you an exact date.

in the blog you can see the image they posted with
"whats in right now" and then a date they give us as "later"

and later includes mp, and knowing indie stone speed, allow yourself to decide later means "a while from now." and then let it go, knowing that eventually mp will be added back in.

it is all we got. "later" is the official and only real date we have.

as it gets nearer to mp beta test for us, they will change that cryptic "later" to be more specific, yet still encrypted day release, hinting it is nearer than before. just hinting mind you.

you will have to read between indie stone lines and decipher the meaning.
