Oil Press / Seed Paste / Vegetable Oil

Has anything figured out how to turn seeds into seed paste? I have so many seeds (sunflower for example) but for the life of me I haven't been able to figure out how to make the required seed paste in order to make vegetable oil using the hand-operated press.

Any tips?

There're quite a few new worktables under farming that have to be constructed. So sunflowers have to be milled in the stone mill according to the recipe I found in the game data. Though I'm not that far myself and haven't tried it.

I have been searching for this the past hour and have not found an answer either. Guess I'll try the stone mill now, had not seen that, thanks!

Thank-you for this - it makes sense that we may yet be missing this piece as Devs mentioned some parts of crafting were not yet implemented.

Here's to hoping we can uncover a mill somewhere in the game world!

There is a stone mill recipe under buildings my dude, I wanna build it but I need 3 large stones first and 10 stone blocks. Can't be bothered right now I'm going to smash some zedheads in first.

just pick them up off the ground when you see the rocks, that is a thing now. right click and choose :pick up large stone"
