Project Zomboid

The crucible blues....
So... I've gone most of the way through blacksmithing. I can make the good swords and the machete. Not sure if there is a quality difference between making swords from iron or steel because by the time I got to swords I had used up all my iron and only had a couple steel bars left.

But nevermind all that. Now I need a crucible so I can melt items in my furnace and make my own iron bars.

The problem is, I can't figure out how to make a crucible.

I have a kiln. I made a wooden crucible mold. I have clay. The Kiln has a recipe for firing a clay crucible.

However, I don't have a recipe to make a clay crucible with the crucible mold. The recipe doesn't show up in my crafting menu or at the press (where, for instance, making a clay Anvil mold from a wooden Anvil mold does)

Will it just appear at some point as I level Pottery?

I found two ceramic crucibles already. Muld warehouse and railroad depot.
Crafting could have bugs and missing recipes. If someone has a time, worth checking it in debug mode.

Just found this out a few seconds ago. Why then was I able to make a crucible mold? Who knows... Problem solved I guess.

Hehe, no problem. Sometimes its easy to overlook some stuff.
Also, default settings will have all recipes showing in recipe book even if you have not learned it.
