Is it possible to quit smoking at 42b?
I'm tired of stressing over nothing.

go download a mod called smoking stress fix and ull be fine, the problem is that looting zombies causes huge stress gains to smoker stress.

The thing with the smoker trait is youre an addict. Part of its downside is your character in particular will always suffer the withdrawals of not smoking even if you the player "quit" smoking. The only cure is not to be addicted in the first place and not take smoker.

Smoker isnt the free points it was like in b41. Theres going to be a lot of newbies who follow old guides and get trapped with how bad it is until they learn not to take it.

The world crumbling wouldn't at all affect your character? I think the Smoker trait adds flavor to Project Zomboid's setting.

The problem isn't the smoker. The problem is that you can't loot with a zombie without taking your stress to the max.

Surely, you can bait zombies around buildings so they lose you, and then sneak back to looting.

That's not the point, when I want to take an item from a zombie I get a lot of stress.
So far it looks like a bug, but if it gets to a stable version, I'll take it for granted.

If your character does not smoke he will gain huge stress, and on high levels, he will start to mumble grumble, so snuck around for a long while, haha eff you for choosing smoker:P
You finally managed to get a smoke, sneak around and puff it....now COUGH FOR ME:P
