Project Zomboid

Project Zomboid

The new heatmap needs to be a top priority
So, the older parts of the map are pretty much just packed like sardines with zombies.

Specifically, I believe they need to work in hard limits numerically for areas. A good place to start? Well, start with giving each town their own definitive population and distribute the heatmap within those areas accordingly.

Of course though, obviously play around with these numbers so that it's fitting for the game.

We don't need 400 zombies spilling out from a sports center in the boonies.

From there, they can start working on muscle strain, when things are finally reasonable again.

oh yeahh. thay was soo much adrenaline killing those. it took me 3 ingame days until i finally died with more than 3.5k zombie killed. still lot more coming. im using a siren to lure them all out in 1 place. i think zombies are freezing when out of rendering range or too far from the screen because they wont stop coming XD

I think ive killed more people in brandenburg than lived there to begin with. Absolutely bonkers.

All in all I like the new heat maps, keeps the dang zoms off the dang roads.
IMO, the bugged population setting should be the priority. I feel like the heatmap won't be so much of an issue if players can adjust the population setting.

Potato potatoh ;)

Lol, didnt catch that. Yeah, i meant former people, not alive survivors :p
So, I went to the surplus store in echo again...

There was over 1000 zombies.

The zombie count is WAY overtuned.

I don´t get it - The Guns Unlimited Zombie count is - in my opinion- high but reasonable. People fled to places with survival gear and Weapons. So it´s only logical to have masses of zombies there. Other Places like Echo Creek are mostly empty.

As someone who lives in the boonies, these small communities are always SUPER small. Even for back then.

To have that many zombies there, the surrounding towns would all have to be near empty to have ANY semblance of realism.

If this were around the more major areas like Louisville, then sure, makes sense.

Not for a place smackdab in the middle of cornfields beyond what the eye can see.
I don´t know, This place has to be the BIGGEST (civil) Stockpile of Guns and Ammo. In the game So in my opinion, erverybody would rush from all over the county to this place to get some. And it´s only a Ingame 1,5 hour drive from Luisville ;) And Echo Creek for example is empty... i think i had maybe 60-90 Zombies there before i declared it officially Safe
