Chickens stopped laying eggs
And I can not figure out why.
I relocated my chicken to a new pen, they have food, water and a hutch (constructed with carpentry) that has its doors open. Since then, they did not lay a single egg
They share their pen (154 tiles) with a bunch of sheep and some turkeys. Before that, they had their own pen and layed eggs like crazy.
The chickens are healthy and not stressed.
Since animal zones can only be rectangular and my pen isn't rectangular, part of the animal zone is outside the actual pen.

My theories:
- Sharing the pen/zone with other animals (especially turkeys since they also use the hutch?) prevents egg-laying
- The constructed hutch is bugged
- The animal zone needs to be 100% inside the actual pen
- Something else

Any advice is appreciated, I will try to build a new zone for the chickens in the meantime

I am also having issues with this hopefully someone finds a fix. I do have bunnies in my enclosure too.

Did you find an answer? I have the theory it might be seasonal? I recently got to October and chickens stopped laying eggs. And IRL chickens stop or lay less eggs in winter

Totally forgot that I made this thread.
Well, my chickens started laying eggs again on their own.
Truth is, since my chickens original pen was rather far away, I didn't check their hutch daily, more like every 3-5 days. The new pen was right in front of my house, so I checked daily and panicked (maybe a bit early). But I swear there was some kind of "break" where they didn't lay eggs right after I relocated them.
The chickens keep laying eggs now, despite one male turkey and four sheeps in their pen.
Also, winter doesn't seem to affect their egg laying, it's mid-january in my game and they haven't stopped so far.

Might just be RNG related?
