B42 Metal Bar Barricades?
I can't seem to be able to barricade using bars anymore...

Neither the steel bars nor metal pipes seem to allow for it.

Anyone else managed to get one to work?

steel plates work - your talking about the metal bars? im pretty sure those are still iron pipes (ill go check in a bit- its pipes not bars tho) also it should be visible in the build menu

another step in the recipe? Maybe screws? or bolts?

42? I guess you need steel RODS since these are used in welding building. Iron/steel BARS are for metalcrafting of smaller objects.
I use sheets anyway, to keep vouers in check...
