I put down rain barrels and they worked just fine. Just maybe filling a little bit slower than before? Also true, watering cans don't fill up right now.

Yeah sometimes when it's lightly raining, the ml counter goes up super fast and the other is not moving at all. Broken atm

Can't confirm. All my rain collectors work perfectly fine. Do you have any mods installed?
Also, sorry if that's dumb... but when it starts filling, it shows a more precise decimal number (e.g.: 1.66), later on it switches to just one number after zero (like 13.4)... therefore the first number may seem to fill faster, when it isn't. I guess that's not the thing you meant?

They will collect, very very very slowly. Tip: Build troughs instead. They fill up almost instantly. Buckets you need empty paint can buckets, those will fill.
its mods - im telling ya even if the mod is seemingly unrelated to the issue - mods are gonna be a big problem for a while - i anticipate about 40 billion posts where the answer is gonna be mods.... i wont be messing with any 42 mods for several months at a minimum till things are better ironed out - likewise when multi hits ill only be playing vanillas for quite some time - the mod issues will be too great
