i prefer using a baton or crowbar as they last a hell of a long time
- More common weapons like hammers, pipes, kitchen knives, etc usually do not merit repairs, since it easy enough to find a substitute.
- Repairing should be held for the more uncommon tools like axes, police batons, machetes and hunting knives. It is also technically better to keep such items stored for later, as higher Carpentry allows for more efficient repairs, and higher Maintenance skill practiced with throw-away analogues will greatly improve rare weapon lifetimes.
