Dropped items disappearing

Any item that is dropped in my server since the new update disappears from the game. Vanilla items included.

However, trading / Placing items/ Storing items are all retained and not deleted. Anyone else experiencing this bug?

i deduced the problem, at least on the modded side of the spectrum, to Britas ARMOR pack, not gun pack, and Paw Lows Loot as its whole.

This still seems to happen without any mods though and i dont know why.

Brita's armor got hot fixes, so it's it could be paw low loot or eris_nvg

NVG mod is common denominator... Brita's Armor had elements of it... once removed eliminated bug... PLL has elements of NVG, and causes bug... NVG mod when used causes bug...

Hmm, the big question is why is it disappearing on the vanilla side. I saw some developers replying to threads similar to this and hopefully they're looking in to the issue.

Isn't it part of default settings that dropped items disappear? Go to sandbox and set the value to 0, which is what I do. Then dropped items don't disappear.

Got same problem on our server and traced it back to Paw Low's Loot.

So I went further and tested each one and found that the fantasy pack was the one causing the issue, just dissable that one and you should be good

I'm literally about to try this, I've had the same issue on my server with friends.

so.. i don't have any fantasy pack and this happend to me aswell.. two pairs of shoes, placed with the free-placement feature and like 27 boxes of shotgunshells by just dropping it out of my inventory, so it's not related to the free-placement feature they've recently added.

that's the worst bug i ever encountered in this game. it's one of my favorite games, BECAUSE of this wasn't a thing befor today. it was always consistent. i have mods but not some fantasy pack. everything seems to point to a vanillaside bug tho.

Edit: it's an offline >sandbox playthrough. the bug was noticed a day after it must have been happend. the items that despawned where placed recently and i didn't had any mod changes for RL-days. it disappeared all at once, seemingly.

There appears to be more than one mod causing this issue. You'll just have to go through the ones you are using to figure out which one is doing it.

That said there is also an option that cleans up most items that get dropped on the ground, but that should still take some time before they disappear.
