Remove Broken Glass: "Requires item in your left hand"
About half the time when I walk up to a smashed window and attempt to remove the glass from it, the option will be red and I will be told "Requires item in your left hand". But I have no idea what item it's talking about or why some windows require this mystery item and some don't...? The most recent one I just encountered is one of the front windows on the medical centre in Muldraugh, but it seems like it can be any random window... I think I still got this issue testing without mods but I was testing something else so I'm not sure...

sounds like a mod issue, using the "throw em out the window" by chance?

Yes it is most likely a mod issue.
Since you should be able to clear out window frames from glass shards...though you might risk scratches, lacerations, deep cuts, and you might even need a tweezer to remove the shards.

I've had this before in a vanilla run and it simply requires you to have any item in your left hand for the prompt to work.

Just quickly equip a weapon or something and you can do it without a problem.

Even works with a shotgun.

Huh... Any idea why that happens...? If it's a vanilla thing too is it a bug?

Oh weird... It DOES work like y'all said, but I need to equip an item in my right hand not my left. The "Primary" slot which seems to be the character's right hand. Again though, is this a bug?

I think its to simulate not touching the glass with your bare hands. It's like tin can lids. Everyone knows that'll cut you but still being extremely careful we all get cut maybe 1 in 100 times.
