Plumbing Washing machine not possible?

I've set it up the same way as my sink (Which works)
But for some reason I cant plumb the washing machine, i keep getting the error that there is no water supply, eventhough I have the rain barrels on the level above it

Left the area and returned, now its seems to be working lol

I had a similar problem... dropped a dryer next to it and POOF! It magically worked.

I guess its still a bit buggy and leaving/ reloading the area seems to work.

I had already had a dryer near it so i guess i could've just picked that one up and placed it down.
