How do you spawn at them? A friend and I claimed and shared a house but when we died I didn't see it as a spawn option

There is no such option in vanilla.
You get to spawn in a random place in one of the selectable towns. If I'm correct, your character's occupation influences spawn location too.
But there is no such thing as "claiming" a safehouse.

Huh? You can right click and there is an option "Claim Safehouse"

As far as I can tell, that is a server option which must be enabled.

The server does have it enabled, we set it that way

once youve claimed the safehouse, you can add a friend to the safehouse and when you are inside the safehouse rightclick go to safehouse info and then check respawn here or something, hope this helps

So we did that. But when we die and respawn the safe house is not an option.

Is there a way to tell if you can actually “claimed” it as you say?

You have to check the "Respawn at safehouse" box everytime you login and after you die.

It's bugged. There's a thread about it on the forums now, hopefully there's a fix soon.

So it seems for a few people with this problem, the error log shows a bunch of duplicated items. A saint on the forums figured out that if you DISABLE "all clothing unlocked" in your server settings (under Character, I think), the issue is averted. Hope that can help you.

i cant NOT spawn in the safehosue and its driving me mad. was trynna spawn in west point cause me and my friends were there when i died. i have it unchecked and we have tried restarting server but i keep spawning there.
