Bug? Burned down the whole city with a forgotten oven...
Hi guys !

As the title says... Is that some kind of a bug? I know the houses can burn down if you forget to shut down a oven... But the whole city? The fire keeps spreading and i think if i keep playing long enough every thing will burn down !

I probably lost my save game right?

During the rain, fire stops spreading as much, at least from my experience. So you will just have less loot in town remaining. The houses also tend to have a few solid tiles remaining after the fire, so probably your save is fine.

Also, I got killed by zeds before I burned down the house with an oven, which comes to a question, how long does it take for the oven to catch on fire?

There's an option to set fire spread on/off in sandbox. Fire can spread from one building to the next one, and zeds on fire will spread it too. I don't remember if rain is working against fire, I want to say yes but I actually don't remember. You can fight not so big fires with extinguishers, keeping the zeds on fire away from big forest or buildings, or manually putting off tiles on fire. Be careful not to set yourself on fire but if you do, right click on yourself and there should be an option to extinguish yourself too.

Edit: In PZ it is really important to check that you turn off the oven every time you use it because yes, you can lose all you have because of fire.

Well Zombie FD is not really good at firefighting but good at spreading.
Fires are quite insane in this game. Zombies for example will keep burning until they die and probably even after.
