how do i edit player stats when hosting an mp server

In the title, i cant edit my own stats either in the debug menu.

First you need to give yourself admin powers with
/setaccesslevel "username" admin
Then you should be able to go to the admin menu on the left side of the screen and edit your stats there.

i am hosting and gave myself admin in chat and it still says client

but giving admin to other players it works

Unusual, are you using the "" around your name? And do you have debug mode on perhaps? As that can cause issues with the admin menu.
