Reasons you might have the Anxious Stress moodle:
A zombie Bit you recently, and you are infected.
You are near hordes of Zombies and were just in combat.
You haven't smoked cigarettes and have the Smoker trait.
You are covered in blood and have the hemophobic trait.
Gotta keep your character busy, and occupied. Or like others said, your traits might be what's causing it.
Also a meal that you cook can make you very happy. I have a rabbit & veggie stir-fry in my inventory that does -49 Unhappiness.
Now you can game while you game.
If you're trying to conserve meals, then Drinks made in a Mug can be quite helpful. They're not as powerful as Cooked Food, but 2 well crafted drinks with Bourbon and Wine in them are enough to overcome the -50 Unhappiness from Dog Food.
