Some Arbitrary Goals (For Fun)
Here are some arbitrary goals you can set for yourself while playing PZ. They don't ultimately serve a purpose, but you can use these ideas for your own immersion, or to challenge yourself.

Last updated Aug. 12 2023

Send a Distress Signal
The LBMW radio station is in Louisville, and is the only transmitter within the exclusion zone powerful enough to send a signal past the military blockades. If you can send a distress signal out to let people know there's still survivors in Knox County, maybe they can send you a means of evacuation. If not, at least maybe you'll have someone to talk to.
Goals:
1) Secure the LBMW Radio Station building in Louisville.
2) Restore power to the radio station.
3) Repair the LBMW transmitter (have Electronics skill 8 or higher and read all 3 Guerilla Radio magazines).
4) Transmit distress signal loop (place a powered HAM radio, powered CD player with CD, headphones, and electric wire in a designated spot inside the station).
Optional: Secure and power the radio relay station outside of Muldraugh.
Optional: Secure and power the secret military base west of Rosewood.

Establish Travel Routes
Traveling through Knox County is a hazardous proposition. Aside from the ever-present infected, there are police blockades, wrecked vehicles, and defunct road construction sites peppered throughout the area. If you can clear and establish relatively safe routes between the major towns and cities, moving around will become safer, faster, and easier for traders and refugees alike. Nevermind that it's an opportunity to scavenge up usable car parts and scrap metal.
Goals:
1) Clear routes to towns adjacent to your safehouse of derelict vehicles and other road hazards.
2) Establish safehouses in towns that do not already have one.
3) Leave behind maps (written notes) and usable vehicles directing survivors and refugees to your main safehouse.

Destroy the Samples
If the Knox Infection isn't already a bioweapon, then it surely will be, someday. The world isn't ready for this scale of carnage, but the powers that be would never understand that. It's certain that samples of the Knox Infection have been collected by the military and hospitals alike, and it's entirely likely that those samples are still in Knox County. They must be destroyed, and the best way to ensure complete sterilization is through fire - Even if you have to burn a few buildings down in the process.
Goals:
1) Acquire a U.S. Military walkie talkie and/or U.S. ARMY COMM HAM radio.
2) Find the AEBS frequency.
3) Eavesdrop on military communications to find sample locations (Listen to 5 days worth of AEBS broadcasts, including military chatter).
4) Locate and burn down 5 of the following locations (randomly selected):
- St. Peregrin Hospital (Louisville)
- Rosewood Penitentiary (Rosewood)
- Louisville General Hospital (Louisville)
- Secret Military Base (Rosewood)
- Cortman Medical (Muldraugh)
- Louisville Medical Center (Louisville)
- U-Store It Storage Complex (Riverside)
- Holy Grace Church (Muldraugh)
- Muldraugh Elementary (Muldraugh)
- Post Office (Riverside)
- Clark Storage (Muldraugh)
- West Point Motel (West Point)
- (Whatever other random points of interest)

(I might add to this in the future.)

When General McGrew said that the Military will come for you that wasn't an empty promise. What's left of the US Government is coming for you but want to use your location as an FOB for further excursions into Knox Country.

1)Secure any radio transmitter station on the map and place down a Military HAM Radio to establish contact with any Military force still remaining (station must be powered)

2)Establish a safe compound with the following facilities:
-Helipad for Choppers
-Barracks with room for at least 14 personnel
-Medical room
-Comms and Cartography
-Armory
-Food stores

3)Survive in the compound at least until spring for the Military to regroup and send a Helicopter to your location
