So... Watermelons
I was looting a hosue and noticed it had a watermelon. I sliced it with a kitchen knife and the slices suddenly give unhappiness + boredom.

Intended? Rotten modifier hidden?

I think all raw food has boredom + unhappiness to it. Might be wrong tho.

So I am supposed to COOK watermelons? dear lord have I been doing it wrong!

No, you're supposed to eat more stuff than raw fruit and vegetables.

Again, I don't have the game here with me so I can't check that out for the moment. As I said, I might be wrong about that.

It just rotted in that time it took to cut it. Yeah I think there is a bug where fruits and veggies don't have a 'rotten' tag on it even though it is.

From my knowledge there are 3 levels: fresh, (nothing), and rotten. So:

Fresh Watermelon
Watermelon
Rotten Watermelon

Anything not fresh generally gives some boredom. Though, it shouldn't give unhappiness unless if rotten.

Ok, so I was absolutely wrong about that.

Was some kind of bug : when slice a watermelon i take the freshness of the watermelon and transfer it to the new slice, but the slices become rotten faster than the watermelon, so let's say if your watermelon had 2h left of fresh state, when slice it, the part will become not fresh (not rotten either).

Will be changed in next build, cheers :)

yay! i was tired of the fresh ones going bad so quickly. i was slicing them right out of the fridge too.

Things like watermelon don't rot very quickly but do very in size maybe theres a hidden size variable for certain foods which adjust it's rotting rate never know.
for all those wondering, normal watermelons actually gives boredom and unhappines, so thats it, probably all normal fruits not being fresh gives this stats
