username and password

I purchased this game directly from steam without first owning it on desura. as far as I can recall i never received a username or password? I have no idea how to find these and am hanging to play multiplayer! help!!!

You find a server (good luck, there is no global server or server browser) and input whatever you want for those fields, something you will remember. Ah, but how to join any given server? Opt into beta [onlinetest] or hidden public beta [iwillbackupmysave] and you don't need a forum account just a quick Google for "IWBMS".

I just bought Project Zomboid recently and the same problem is happening to me. I bought it directly from steam, and here I am 4 years later with a server browser, and I still kinda don't know what to do. Help?

You make any username and password you want, that is what tells the server that the characters logged under that username are YOURS, since characters are saved serverside.

you type letters and numbers into the account username and account password fields.
