BLEACH?!?
Surely, for scratchs and some bites, you should be able to splosh bleach(would hurt like hell) to reduce the chance of infection, maybe lose some health for a long time to heal? No one in their right mind is gonna drink it, and that is the only option at the minute!

well its better to drink it and die then get zombifiet and meet your old body with a new person
Suicide is always an option when your boxed in a room and theres no way out and your dying.....I'll take myself out before they get me. Try it....keep taking sleeping pills and then drink the bleach. takes a bit but you die.

Using bleach on yourself is actually a really bad idea. It's necrotic to tissue- it's actually going to make the wound worse. Further, if you're talking about stopping the zombie pathogen, well, that's already going to be in your bloodstream by the time you get a chance to pour bleach on it. If you're referring to normal infections that grow on wounds, you're better off waiting and finding some hot water and soap, alcohol, or pretty much anything else that isn't going to make it worse.

If you dilute the bleach appropriately before applying it to the wound, it would be an excellent wilderness antiseptic. Virtually every antibiotic and antiseptic in use in modern real life is poisonous to humans. The trick is killing more bad things (like bacteria) than good things (like your skin cells).

^^^Exactly. I wouldn't dump it on yourself, but if you have an open wound and you suspect it has been exposed to a pathogen and you are a in a desperate situation, a washcloth with water-dissolved bleach is probably still better than no antiseptic at all.
Why should :bleach: reduce the effect the chance to be infected..
Maybe i could collect enough :bleach: and fill a swimming pool, and take a bath in it like siegfried the dragon slayer, to get immunity of the virus.
Sarcasm alert.

Yeah, as soon as a vein is explosed (when you start bleeding), pathogens instantly have access to the blood stream.

NEVER put bleach on any type of wound. Seriously? How have you survived this long? IRL and in PZ lol Sorry, couldnt help myself. But in all seriousness, if you put bleach and a towel in your MAIN inventory, you can clean up blood stains.

Other than that, its only use is a last resort "I control my life, not the zeds" aid.
