Best weapons after Axe, Baseball Bat, and Crowbar

I think the three in the title are the best melee weapons in the game. How would you guys rank the weapons after that? My list:

1. Frying Pan - does decent damage and knockback. It is also very durable and can smash quite a few heads before breaking. I often find myself using it early in the game when I don't have the top tier weapons, or if I want to save the durability of my Baseball Bat.

2. Poolcue - I love this weapon cuz you can swing it so fast. Too bad about it's durability.

3. Kitchen Knife - light to carry and one shot kills makes it a great backup weapon. Crafting salads on the go is handy too. I almost always carry it for me for these reasons. Makes a good weapon early in the game for the short term.

4. Golf Club - good range, I find it a bit weak though. Takes too many smashes to kill zombies. Not very durable either.

5. Spade - never used this before, I'd imagine it's decent

6. Rolling Pin - don't have too much experience with this... I recall it being weak

7. Butter Knife - not bad actually, just have a lot of them cuz they break pretty fast. Good for levelling up your Blade xp. It's better than spoons...

Grab yourself a bat, a hammer, and a nail. Right click on the bat....and you can create a bloody good killing machine.

Spade!! it's the bomb. It's long, fast and does a reasonable amount of damage. I always prefer spade. Axe's will break, so I only use them for chopping trees

I love the hammer. 1-3 hit kill almost always and damn good durability. It's my personal favorite.

the hardware store on main street of West Point has 3 axes and a load of nails

Haha, the point of this discussion is to decide what weapon to use when you don't have the top tier weapons, especially early in the game.

I've been trying the hammer recently, and I agree, the hammer is a great weapon due to its strength. I think it'll be my new weapon to use when I need to preserve my baseball bat.

I've killed over 200 zombies, most of them with frying pans.. few with a gun.

I've yet to even fire a gun, are they worth the noise and time? The shotgun seems pretty damn powerful, but not so for the pistol.

Pistol gets the job done if you need to make a quick escape. It doesn't make as much noise as a shotgun (sawn off one is even louder) so you won't attract too many additional visitors. I find with the shotgun is that you better have enough ammo to literally kill everything cuz you'll have a lot of friends visiting.

Frying pan, hammer and kitchen knife, but didnt know i could make salad so from now on i will always have a knife on me to all my cabage and stuff :)

If I'm out raiding a warehouse, I'll carry a nailed baseball bat, pistol and shotgun. Shotgun takes out more than 1 zombie if they are grouped close enough. But noise is a factor. For this reason, if I see any walkers near my safe house, I'll use the baseball bat. Last thing I want is 30 swarming the house - and it does happen. I set off a burglar alarm at one house, and it was like Smash TV all over again - zombies from all directions.

i love the kitchen knife its a mostly 1-2 shot kill kinda weapon but breaks so fast :(
