New player looking for a great mod list.
Hey guys 'n' gals, I've recently started playing this and was wondering if anyone has a mod list that would be suitable for beginners (quality of life stuff mainly).

Ideally I'd like one where I just click "subscribe to all" but even if its just a list of mod names, I'll take it.

Thanks in advance.

My suggestion is, to avoid the very lengthy process of mod testing back and forth to suit your taste is to join a modded server that isn't too modded (better if it's been there for a while now and if it's the type of server that usually just uses QOL mods only), download all of the mods that they're using, then play on said server to see if their modlist is to your liking since they've probably tested it already on their side. Saves you a lot of time.

Then after that, just use those mods for yourself and remove any of the multiplayer mods that they may have if you're only using it for single player.

Alternatively, you can try checking the collections on the workshop tab if you see anything that you fancy. Check your filters and go for the most popular, there are some collections there that claims to make zomboid "immersive" by their standards so you have to go take a look for yourself if it suits your taste to not waste time on redownloading mods over and over again just to get the right mix of QOL mods to get the minimum amount of errors.

You do you man, if you don't want to make your own list then you'll bump into mods you don't like, if you want to make your own list it'll take longer.

Every action has a reaction, it's up to you to decide what compromises you're willing to make in this respect.

I really think it would be best if you start vanilla and make your own list of must haves the game has tons of customization already, but it's hard to know what you want if yiu don't decide for yourself. Take your time. There's no hurry.

mod i unashamedly play with is infinite durability for weapons. Probably too cracked but I get tired of replacing favorite weapons with new ones, especially firearms (not to mention, their jamming mechanism is horrendous). Might be more than what you're looking for but if you are interested, check it out.

Thanks for all of your thoughts.

these ones should help without effecting the vanilla gameplay, basically some training wheels you can turn off eventually

Okay, like I said, you never know what you're missing. Lol I added all those. Previously, the only mod I had was this one, because sometimes the practicality of what you're wearing is an eyesore.
