anyone staying on build 41 until build 42 comes out in full though go nuts!
figured i drop it now like 12 days before 42B comes out cuz that's the funny cool thing to do
Let me sum up.
Build char:
Choose perks you want
Balance with negatives
Start Game:
Find weapon that matches your chosen skill
Get a car
Get tools
Secure base
Yeah...I mean, that's how you play.
First of all, the tally of the traits you listed in your post sets you at 2 remaining free points to be used.
Secondly, you don't take key meta traits that should be in all builds in b41 without any questions because of how core they are: Fast learner, wakeful.
Thirdly you skip over key areas without having any lvl in maintenance at the start, which combined with the lack of fast learner means you'll be burning through weapons (which i guess is why you would even need so many baseball bats in the first place, given you obviously seem to play on zombie pop 1.
Fourth, No dextrous is poo poo, it's all fun and games until you run through the razorblade filled trees, cut open your neck, realize you did, and then bleed out because you didn't manage to pull a bandage out of your backpack in time.
Fifth, why the heck would you even go lumberjack if you don't plan on using axes late game.
For the low low price of exactly the same hecking price, you get the fire officer, which in your case would mean giving you 150 000 XP points in both strength and fitness, bumping you to 10 in both, with a level of sprinting to top it off.
Sixth, long blunt is just as far from meta as it gets in b41 my dude. It's the most endurance cost to swing, for the lowest comparative damage dealt. The real meta b41 build is likely something that starts with nimble 2 and goes spears tbh.
Seventh, why on spiffo's orange earth would you advise players to head straight on through the most densely populated place on the map (granted pop 1 is babeymode but still) to get weapons? That screams anti meta to me.
You want meta access to weapons? bats in this case? You go to riverside, do the school gymnasium, on your settings that's a few bats, then you do the sporting goods store, that's another few bats, then you do the gated community, that's another few bats and maybe a couple machetes. risk= 0
don't skip wakeful, don't do eet
wakeful makes you sleep "better" by 25% and thus recover endurance faster, and also makes you accrue tiredness slower by 30%. Both effects combined mean an much, much longer effective day (before your rest meter dips below 75 and you get the drowsy moodle)
You obviously are free to play however you best please, but i just wouldn't call that necessarily meta ^^ maybe more personal preference
I said it was MY trait build but i often switch from wakeful to cats eyes or vice versa
second this build is made to make it so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy someone with only 20 hours in the game can go to lui and make it a month or more that's why lumberjack and for me its all about the grind so i don't need help with fast learner or taking skills to help me early on lol
3ed i told you go to a specific location by the baseball bat factory its not even that populated what do you mean telling new people to go into a highly populated area
unless your talking about them driving there lol after you clear out this small area it has basically all you need within walking distance or in one of the few stores next door like i get it the city is mega populated but this area is like rose wood levels of hot maybe less and it makes it so getting into late game you don't need to drive a million miles to the city and back just to get some items from the city your just already there
It is actually not really a build for new players. They will not survive the first month with this build. As Kaia mentions leaving out dextrous is a serious issue. It decides whether you can bandage that neck or whatever woudn in time or not.
Wakeful also helps a lot.
Having weak stomach, thin skinned and prone to illness without outdoorsman also pose quite the threat in themselves.
With thin skinned and without outdoorsman the moment you pass through shrubs or trees, your char will likely get a laceration.
Also he is right suggesting selecting fire officer if you do not plan to play with axes.
The issue with "criticizing" is, that you shout out that you made a META build for newbies.
Experienced player points out it is not so. Try to counter his arguments. The bat factory argument is not really a good one. (How do they get there if they don't drive? Because you cannot really expect players to spend 5-9 irl days walking their characters to make your build work.)
Also your post suggest that this is a build with which new players can go to Lville, however it turns out that you want them to go there to make it work, as it relies on a factory that is there, and the items that can be found there. A bit confusing.
Think it through and try to argue and debate with people, giving logically sound responses.
