Indoor Campfire without burning your house?
Hey, is it possible to have a campfire inside your house ?
I did build a 2nd floor room, all window frame as walls, no floor tiles up but 3rd floor have a roof.
Used sand, to make a 3x3 square and tried with a 5x5 square, fire is constantly spreading over sand tiles and reaching wood to burn them, dunno why.
I guess wood floor with sand over it still count as wood for the fire spreading system ?
I tried to put sandbags around it, but it did burn them.. lol

Any tips ?

You can't. Generally speaking, one should not have a large open flame in a house.

You can put it up on the roof, though.

Okay, will do this on the roof then, might try to remove just the rooftile above the campfire just to see what happen. thanks Axelord.

Couldn't hurt to throw a little dirt or sand down, first. :)

Yeah i still have sands around, removed the tile, and i had no more problems with it so far, i guess the game consider it as outdoor campfire now. So you were right, when considered indoor, the fire just get crazy and tries to burn things every 30mins.

That being said you can surround it by Wooden pillars and give it a roof as long as no walls are nearby.

I've seen pavement catch fire. Some coding still needs work.
