Health of Walls
Hey pziers, i was wondering if you knew how long it took for a zombie to get through both lvl 10 wood wall and plastered wall? A friend and i have built a houst that is completly plastered on the first floor. It is supposed to be a selfsuffient fortress outfited with farming and water purification. This question stems from the loud thuds we hear on the plasterd walls of our tower. Are these zombies eventually going to break the door down?

They will eventually breach, albeit in quite some time given you've contrsucted such sturdy defenses.

LVL10 walls plastered doesn't look very strong, except if something bugged, in SP i finished two lines of them to protect my safehotel, went to bed, 8hours later zombies managed to get through...
Hope something went wrong, or i don't see the point of fortification if a dozen of zomb can destroy everything in one night.

Did some further testing, on current build i think 32.16 ? with a maxed stats character. plastering walls just makes them weaker lol.
Walls overall are weak, 23 axe hit to beat down a lvl10 wall, 12hit a plastered lvl10 wall, now i understand how a bunch of zombies got inside. Log walls takes 29hits, a bit stronger.
Tried with doors, lvl10 door takes 23 hits too, same as a wall. A 4-barricaded door took 172hits for the barricades + 23hits for the door.
And finaly a 1-barricaded window frame takes 43hits (43*4=172). So it makes one window frame 4barricaded 7.47x stronger than a wall.

And window frame with one barricade still almost 2times better.. it is harder to beat one plank than a wooden wall.. not very realistic.

Oh and advantage of a window frame, i guess it won't be destroyed by zombies. So just have to re-barricade them when needed. It's like 2 destroyed walls rebuilded with one plank and one nail.

Good info, thanks for testing:)
