Any way to cheat by removing a bite?

I'm about 6 day into a game, proberly my 5th longest and i was bitten by a zombie that i attacked but because he was behind a door my swing didnt connect and he bit me wile i was in the after swing.

Alternatively you can just play with the default sandbox settings (Which are the standard 'Survival' settings) with scratch/bite related infections disabled. Best of luck to you, and your survival endeavors my fellow survivor of the zombie apocalypse!

See the thing is i want the bites to kill from zombification, I'm getting near 100% zombifiaction from scraches, so i want that removed but still want the bites to do so. This bite though shouldn't have happened, but a glitch/bug that stops an axe from going threw to hit the zombie behind it and the zombie was put there becuase the first strike of the axe then why do i have to end my game because of an inprogramable feature. So zombie goes threw door but axe can't.

I would like to see some type of zombie treatment, get bitten, jab this in your heart and spend the next 10 days practly dead and youll live, good luck not doing anything for 10 days.

Sorry, ch_molik, you're never going to see a cure in the vanilla game. I agree with you about the "bites only" zombification, I'm sure the devs will get around to it at some point. And if not? A modder most definitely will :)

I can't even use that cheat mod to get rid of the zombification, just give me god mode which i don't want.

Lets you type commands in like the cheat menu, but youll have to go in god mode then it heals you. It might work if you type /heal

It hasn't happened to me lately though, the hits have been properly not-registering my last playthrough :P I think I've had it happen to me before though, in a previous build.

The zombie didn't bite threw the door, I just swang the axe when the zombie was behind the door, when i was drawing the axe back for another swing it walked threw the door and bite me. Its not so much a glitch as a coding issue that has yet to be coded.

I like the idea of bites infecting but scratches? Who heard of human nails scratching deep enough to draw blood?

So wait you were only 5 days into a game? You sure it wasen't 5 months? If you have only survived 5 days. You might be better off restarting. You can always start a new character in the same world.

Apparently you've never been attacked by someone with long finger nails. They penetrate flesh.

Hell i ACCIDENTALLY cut my own skin to the blood two weeks ago, with a HANG NAIL that was just floppily dangling off a tiny thread of skin, human nails are harder then human skin man, and they can get cut and jagged and long enough to way more then easily pierce human flesh. And my finger nails dont extend further then my fingers, so if my crummy, blunted and short as ♥♥♥♥ nails can pierce the skin, the jagged, blood and guts ridden hands of a zombie is more then capable of piercing flesh.


Hell if someone wanted to they could treat their nails so they could use them like tiny knives that can cut steak, all that takes is a good manicurist.
