Can I add new mods to my game?

yes, there should an option when you try to load your save file, but be aware not all mod work mid game and some won't spawn (weapon, gear. car) on already loaded chunk

It depends on the mods you want to add, some can be added even after you create the save, others you have to start a new game

If they are map mods you can add them mid game. If you visited the cells the new locations occupy you must remove the cells from your files to allow the new locations to generate.

Any item spawns, vehicles included, wont spawn in cells you've already visited. You'll have to remove the cell files to allow them to spawn.
