How to craft animal skin carpet?

Hey, I would like to ask how to craft the carpets using animal hides. I got the animal skins cruded( sorry, this might be the wrong word; don't remember how to spell it correctly XD) and tanned, but then they are just rolls of skin, and I just cannot find a way to open them up and make them carpets. I feel that I am stuck at the last step, but I just don't know the right way.

What does the recipe say? You probably need some crafting stations to process raw leather to the leather needed for the recipe.

ya one its all fully tanned you get two place options - one rolled and one as carpet - some smaller hides dont like raccoons tho

pretty sure they gotta be furred, not crude, to lay down as a carpet

When you treat them just remove the flesh with the fleshing tool, leave the fur on then dip in the brain tan then dry it.
