Good Call! They did increase the range of generators by one floor. So instead of two up and two down it can now do three and three. Having the generator on the ground level of the March Ridge base doesn't quiet reach down to the fourth floor basement.

If there is a roof over the generator it will gas out the entire structure. Locking it in a closet and shutting the door does nothing, the entire house will be unlivable.
I know but I want it nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwww and the regular generators are all I have to work with.
I build them inside my homes all the time I just make sure it has a chimney. If you make a little 1x1 room in your base with no roof and put a door on that room the outside temperature won't effect your base. Works well for big bases.
Not sure but maybe that 1x1 room will be considered another building and won't off-gas to the rest of the bunker.
