Right click on the pot of water choose to create a soup or stew then add the bits by right clicking on the pot each time then put it on the oven to cook.
The more you add the better the benifits but the do go off if you dont use them
also if you have empty bowls you can portion them in 2x and 4x
hope this helps
I have a pot full of water and a open tuna/beans can in my main inventroy but when I right click the pot it's still not giving me the option to make soup.
You need the pot empty if you're going to cook beans.
I think the Wiki is outdated. I just made soup expecting to see 'boring soup' after adding my onions (first ingridient) but now it just says 'vegetable soup' each time and shows an icon for each vegetable in the soup.

That's really useful thanks for sharing :)
But does anyone know what Tuna and Beans are used for now?
Tuna? Currently no cooking is done with tuna.
Beans? I think you can still make a "bowl of beans"; but that's it... again no other cooking.
because you get bored eating it since its so simple!
It was an old naming convention (now gone, soups are now named by ingredient).
For old soups/salads 1 ingredient was "boring" 2 ingredients was "normal" and 3 ingredients was "tasty".
It was "boring" compared to the other options. Now it's just called "chicken soup" or "broccoli soup" or whatever.
The old cooking system, the soup was named by quality. Tastey soup was the best, if I remember right.
