If my character dies , should I restart my game?
I have had my characters die several times on the same game world if you will. Now that I am on my 3rd and soon 4th character the zombies have been chaseing me far more fiercely than with my first character. Are they hungrier?? Mabe their senses have gotten more , excuse the redundance.. sensitive? It seems harder to start off a fresh character after a few deaths...sooo, what do you think, should I just restart my game? Thanks guys. Keep the zombie brains splattering.

a total restart is up to you, but if several now dead characters in the same file clear out an area, later ones will have a much easier time of survival. and i dont think its so much that they get more sensitive or anything, they all have different perception and speed, just like regular people. it could just be running into an agressive group as well.

Dont forget to sneak as well, it may take longer to get somewhere, but going slow can save your life. Dont run unless its a matter of getting Hoarded up, it makes way too much noise and will attract too many zeds. move slow, clear one specific area, and keep trying is all the advice i can give.
My advice is that if you have a safehouse boarded up with goodies, restart but if you have nothing but yourself and inventory you'd be better off starting a new game.
I restart because a start with rotten food everywhere and the water & power turned off is harder to get going. And having cleared all the houses around my "safehouse" means the "noob" will be making longer/harder runs with no combat skills.

But if you've got a great setup (stockpiled food weapons and tools, farming underway, water barrels, good safehouse, mostly cleared) I could see making an argument to keep what you've got and keep going as well.

When I die I'm generally in the mood to start fresh, but that's more up to you (knowing you'll get the same world can be a plus or a minus as you consider it)...
Very well guys wow thank you!!! Well having read your advice guys, I have decided to leave it alone for now and work on my survival skills on another world. I hope I can save my new 4th character by then... I get attatched easily. =D

I like to go to the user\zomboid folder and save good games. I rename them for convience.
Hello!
I have a Project Zomboid server i rent one, we playing with my friends and if someone died, musst make a new character, possible to make any options for it turn off character reset, and hes stats, if yes please tell anyone what i should to make it.
Its really annoying after hours play die and reset char again, its shoud be somehow turn it off, we are not playing hardcore, hardcore for only one die, but if possible we would to skip this options, just let keep playing after die a character, but im not found it how it possible to make it to my server.
Thanks for helping!
I personally tend to start a new game after each death because with each new character in the same world some skills become much harder to level. As stated the flip side is that, as blacklight says, areas you clear will still be clear-ish.
Thanks for answer. Its same as on multiplayers server? Will be harder the game each deaths after?

I'd imagine it's pretty tough in general starting on a server that's been up and running for awhile. If you can get in on a fresh server, that would be ideal. I think there probably aren't many of those around right now though.
