Non Ending Helicopter "event"`?

Hi guys.
Right now im ingame cading my house. When suddelny a Helicopter flew over my house.(im proably rekt) but then 4 more flew around. Is that just a little bug? Because its getting kinda annoying

This is annoying and dangerous event. I experienced once half a day of it and it drawn thousands of shamblers around my house. Ugh... hard times

Well, the helicopter is doing it's job then. It was intended as a way to destroy the weaker safehouses and characters.

I know what the Helicopter is supposed to do....but i never experienced it flying around 7 times in a row

It's definitelly not a bug, this event is random just like the lenght of it. If you're lucky, only three of it flies over you. But if you aren't lucky... god protect you :)

God couldnt protect me neither my safehouse. Glad i prepared a second Safehouse

Zeds are aggresive today. They are able to destroy safehouse in no time, in higher ranks.

even if you destroy the stairs and use sheet ropes only?

Sometimes helicopters make one pass, sometimes they make several passes. It might even be a formation of evacuation or military helicopters. The world outside is still carrying on you know?

Maybe in the future this will be a good thing. Like they will also drop supplies. The best thing to do when you hear a loud noise is go indoors and up to a second floor. Also remember to walk not run with scissors!

If you want to you can survive forever by walling yourself up like that. Building water catchers and a small roof garden for food. You would never have to go outside. But that's not fun.

This is an old thread where they are discussing a bug that used to happen with the helicopters where it would not go away at all. It was fixed a while ago.

Well there are only supposed to be two meta events in the first month now. So it should be a lot easier.
