B42 idea - Sewers
With the addition of an underground level, has anyone found any sewer entrances? There is a lot of manhole covers but obviously you cannot interact with them. I haven't played B42 and don't plan to until the MP rolls around, but was curious whether or not this may be a thing or not. Would be a cool way to travel through a city and pop up at convenient (utility entrance in specific building) or inconvenient (oops, popped up a manhole in the middle of the street in Louisville) locations.

It was something I was hoping to see in Louisville at least. Because big city and all. But I don't think I've seen anyone talking about discovering sewers just yet. I guess we'll get one once we can climb up and down ladders. Lol.

found an underground tunnel that leads to the sanitorium, but the lag forced me back

Everyone thinks of sewers but maintenance tunnels are just as common. I lived in Athens Ohio for awhile and even though it is just a small college town, it had a vast network of maintenance tunnels that connected to the sub-floors of nearly every major building in town, including the power station. Most people there didn't even know it existed.

Anyway, no it doesn't exist in B42 (yet) but that's a great idea. Maybe someone will mod it in if the devs never get around to it.

I looked at whole undeground map, and theres some really cool locations (the hardcoded ones, not the random ones), but didnt seen any sewers. But by distribution of these on map, i am guessing that undeground isnt complete yet.

Sewers sounds like a great idea... maybe combine it with some undeground waterworks (i rly liked these locations in 7dtd). Would be probably some high risk no reward place, but cool atmoshpere nonethless.

Sewers definitely would be rewarding, since they would provide alternative routes to locations.
While being dark und stinky at the same time :)

Does anyone know if and how map height and basements interact with each other?
I believe I read at some point that basements reduce the possible max height of buildings in a cell.
Not sure if that's actually true now.
so Down Town Madison has over 100 miles of tunnels under it and i would love to see something like that in Louisville. (My dad works for the university so I have been down there on several occasions, and it is the perfect vibe for this game.

THESE WOULD BE SO COOL!!!! Especially if they were connected to maintenance tunnels so you could pop back up in the back of a random building in town! It could give you a reason to use sound lures too so you can lure zombies safely away from points of interest. The game in general needs some better stealth opportunities.
