Livestock Pen Size?

So i'm raising animals, again. It's got me wondering how big should a animal pen be? Do the sheep/cows get stressed in game if i don't provide enough space?

Might not matter at the moment, except for hutches. As long as you provide shelter for the livestock and no zombie threat nearby, they will have their stress reduced.

I'm keeping 4 sheep and 3 chicken in a tiny guest bedroom, no problems. I guess they don't care at all about the livestock area size, as far as I can tell. Chicken also don't really need hutches, when they are always indoors. You'll just have to collect the eggs from the ground. :)
