Placing Candles and Lanterns b42
I would like to see the ability to place candles and lanterns on desks in my base for when the power goes out. I Dont like how im forced to find a generator, when i can easily just place candles in jars or lanterns around my base. Sadly, when i place these light sources no light appears..

Wished we could turn crayons into makeshift candles. The lack of a burnable torch is kinda painful too.

This has always been a staple of pzed, as finding melee weapons, tools, guns and ammo. Power is needed for a bunch of things, such as powering gas stations for fuel. Unless you just want to waste your life walking everywhere while overencumbered, or unless you just live in your safehouse and go out to chop wood or fish or whatever.
Sound like you might be a new player who is not comfortable with the game yet. No matter if you are or not, we've all been there and thought about this one way or the other 🙂

I'm not a new player and I also would like alternative common sense light sources. Sounds like you are a new human who isn't comfortable with people having different points of view than your own

Whats wrong with having options? I agree, torches (they worked for thousands of years), candles (can be made from tallow/lard), homemade oil lanterns (learned how to make one in 3rd grade) would all be cool to have in game.

Looks like i triggered something, that was not my intention.
As a fact, flashlights are abundant. Almost every house has a radio with a battery in it, just have to disassemble them.

Working candles and candle holders would be amazing.
Idea. Let us make candles with animal fat (new item) or animal brain. Let us make candle holders with pottery. Both give Pottery XP. Give Pottery one more use besides building a forge. -> That way you can make your base rely entirely on candles, saving energy and gasoline.

I have been saying this. I just keep hoping for a mod. I tried using the flashlight on a post but it's so bulky and the selection option to turn on and off is buggy.
