If you ever remove a mod you have to remove them from both lists (id and workshop name) in the mod menu. If you unsub they show up red which makes it easier.
It would be nice if the process of hosting modded servers was easier in general. The hosting feature is a lot nicer than most other games, but I've been bashing my head trying to get a dedicated server up for some friends. Lots of hoops to jump through.
If someone knows how to direct a dedicated server to another server file besides servertest please let me know, as I like to have more than one set up instead of renaming the world files everytime I want to switch saves.
can you link that one please, because the one i have only seems to make the main menu mod selection more manageable. (edit think i found it.)
still would be nice to see this functionality in the base game tho.
Here's my collection I'm currently using, there are several mod manager mods at the top
