B42: Axe repair?
Been playing B42 with lumberjack character, and having some trouble with axe maintenance.

So apparently from googling you can not repair broken fireaxes by removing the handle and replacing it like other axes/hatchets which is annoying.

but now i am also trying to repair an ice axe on low condition and don't seem to be able to, can ice axes just not be repaired? or does it have to be fully broken to repair it?

As far as axes and weapons in general im just not really sure how to tell what is able to be repaired and what is not.

If I recall, Ice Axe and Fire Axe can be fixed with duct tapes as in b41.

Wrong tags on the items. Will be fixed eventually.

I have a fire axe and I can check if it can be fixed. Up until now I was just sharpening it on a grind wheel.

Fire axe handle is fixable with both tapes and both glues.

You have to manually select the axe for repair in the crafting menu.

Are fire axes not sharpenable with whetstone? I can't seem to get mine to sharpen...

I noticed that sometimes I can sharpen them and sometimes I cant.. Not entirely sure why but I'd say it's worth trying again.

Could be lighting conditions

Or overall condition. I've noticed if the head is below some 50% or some such, I can't fix them anymorenor even sharpen after dismantling

Bladed weapons can't be sharpened past its condition. Worn knives will always be dull.
