Craft Torch?

I am pretty new to PZ and first time made it to when power goes out (build 42).
I have no flashlights or lanterns (i only saw them in the crafting menue).
However, i suck at elictricity and don't have the materials needed to craft a flashlight.


Is there a way to craft a simple torch? Couldn't find anything in the crafting menue or google. I think i saw tar somewhere, maybe this is needed?

Not yet so far as I know. However you can use a lighter as a light source. Only has about an hours worth of fuel though

flashlight usually more in car and houses. Try warehouse for lanterns on top. Its usually not so crowded.
