Cows
How much rope do you need to use to move a cow?

I finally had everything ready (I thought) to bring some cows to my base. However, when I tried to bring the cow to my trailer it said I didn't have enough rope. How much rope does it take?

Ah. The rope was in my bag, not in my main inventory.

Now that I've got the cow back at my base, any idea why it runs everytime I try to milk it?
I've tried with a bucket and a saucepan. The animal info says that it's ready for milking, and I get the option to milk it if I hold the container as my primary. Possibly because it is stressed after the trip back to my base? I'm pretty sure it was calm before, but I'm not sure if the few random zombies we passed stressed it out or if it was my failed milking.

Press V when near it to get the radial options. Pat it and check its status. After a few days of petting it and being there with no zoms turning up it should calm. Also find a bull to be with it so it will keep producing milk after calfing. Be careful a stressed bull doesn't end you.

Your cow is probably still stressed. Pet it around every 8 hours, hand feed her and wait a few days. :) aw I was too slow
