Do TV stations cut off after 7 days?
Started my game on January 1st and the wiki said TV stations quit after July 7th but it's Jan 9th now and all TV stations are dead? Power is still up but water is down.

It always hits me hard when I hop through the TV and radio channels to find them all putting out static.

The loss of large scale communication/information/authority really does kick you straight back to the age of hunter-gatherers - It symbolises death of our current civilisation, and not with a bang, not even a whimper, just some dead air...

"It all came suddenly and loudly. Yet, with all the screaming and crying of everyone; in the end it all ended in silence. Endless, unyielding silence. No sirens blaring in the distance. No gunfights in the street. No laughter of children. Not even the voice of a love one. All that is left outside these walls is silence and the dead. The dead of this dead world."

TV schedule starts on whichever day you start on, runs for 9 days from that point, then is gone.

Unless the power goes out. Then a short bypass is required with a generator, fuel and some operational knowledge.

Existenial terror always hits me when everything just goes silent. Dark, quiet, & forever alone with just the walking snackers. :NekoSad:
