The game seems to have a built in feast or famine thing where you easily find one very helpful item but another one is nowhere to be seen. I wonder if it's deliberate?
They are usually meant to be rare, for good reason, they literally let you break down any pre-placed tile on the map. You wanna break a brick wall? do it!
2: At every new save, the game choose 1-2 items from the loot table, and set them to hyper super extreme rare. Sometimes you can't find needle. Sometimes this item is salt. Etc
only op chars (10str10fit) can use them to fight.
i mean 2-3 zeds you can kill with it, but not 50.

This will allow you to craft a sledgehammer (and a bunch of other stuff) from materials you can find in the forest. The sledge recipe is rather balanced in my opinion, because you need carpentry level six and a giant pile of stones and some other materials. It isn't going to just give one to you, but it's something that you can work towards, which I think is better than stumbling across one with rng.
Another mod to consider is one called legendary melee or something. Allows you to combine multiple of the same weapon into an upgraded version, so it could have better condition and do more damage. Then you might consider using a more practical weapon.
going into forest and be able to craft everything from ground up.
for example a saw, screwdriver, sledge, pots etc..
infact im more hyped about this then about npcs, that will make the game just more chaotic.
Well yeah. It's not really realistic, unless someone wants to add a makeshift stone sledgehammer item to the game where you've tied together some tree branches and a large rock with way less durability than the vanilla one.
There are a bunch of sledgehammer recipe mods in the workshop. The other one I know of requires metalworking and a propane torch and metal parts. But if you're having trouble finding a sledgehammer you're probably having trouble finding those too.
