Unable to disassemble plastic chairs
I was able to destroy the plastic table.....which became wood planks and nails....but I don't even get the option to destroy the chairs. Is this a bug, or am I missing some sort of plasticworks magazine; if so, how was I able to destroy the table?

I hope this is intentional because how the hell you gonna get wood and nails from a PLASTIC Table and chair?

The plastic lawn chairs cannot be disassembled: they can only be destroyed with the sledgehammer tool or by picking them up and deleting them from a trash receptacle.

At some point, the plastic tables will probably be changed to produce metal bars/pipes, but for now they give the same drops as basically any other two-tile table, which makes me suspect that the developers just assigned the same disassembly outputs to a bunch of similar items in order to make sure that more items gave something when disassembled.

I don't see an option to even pick them up.
Unless RAFT has lied to me, plastic is an essential early game resource ...especially in 1993

Are you using the furniture tools on the upper left corner of the screen? It should be just above the map, and has a pick up, place, rotate and disassemble mode.

I will try that, I was attempting to do it via the right click menu. I wondered if there was a way to move things instead of destroying them. A lot of the UI is too small to use in 4K.

All that 1993 essential plastic is still laying around somewhere now in 2022. What did we do?!
