Best place for base?

I setup just a little south of Cortman's Medical. It was right along the woods to the east of town because it was the only foraging area I could find in the area.

Warehouses on the north and south ends of town arent a bad bet either. I can say they're some of my favorite places to go.

Depends really if you are going for a long term play threw. If you want to last as long as possible you will have to be outside of city limits or at some point there will be a sound event and your base will get ooverrun.

My fav and one I have yet to see a single zombie at my walls in is the Isolated Forest House.

I often set up in the isolated house mentioned above....also just west of there is a place called kate and baldspots safehouse also very good....both of those are just south of the farm which IF you can survive long enough to live on your own without needing constant supply raids you can move up to later on :D

Yo. If you want an "easy" to manage base? The Logging Camp. Just off the west highway. Tools. Weapons. Security. Supplies. Expanisve land. Not much to complain about there.

The very best for long term survival is the farm to the far west. It has its own well, a 2 story house, is very isolated, has a large forest near it, and has a huge plot of land on it. if you're in it for the long haul, go there.
