Assuming they're white squares, you simply disable Multi-Core in Options and restart the game.

Im not racist, mine are just empty, i tried the demo, there was no hammer image, or whatever weapon i was holding in the demo

Like, blank/invisible/just shows the background? Do you happen to have a nVidia graphics card?

For the moment, we don't know. It's happened maybe a dozen times over the past year, but couldn't reproduce it ourselves. :(

Its not gamebrteaking or anything, but it just makes me confused

The demo is also extremely outdated. You may not have any issues with the full game at all.

Yeah I couldnt believe the performance increase I got from disabling multi threading, would think it would be the opposite.

I have exclusively used Nvidia cards for all my PC gaming and I have never had a problem with it for Zomboid, also yeah the demo is, I don't even know anymore, TWO years out of date?

Think of it this way: WIth only two cores, the game runs on both. With multicore disabled, only one core is used -- hopefully leaving the other one for your OS.

Caveat: I have no idea what I'm talking about, but want to believe that's how it works. :)

I highly respect the honesty, thank you! :approve: Will they update the demo to a newer version?

Hopefully not until the game is finished, they've got bigger fish to fry than updating a free demo. Like implementing the content us paid customers were promised...just saying.
